Hey! I’m an environmental writer and landscape photographer based in San Francisco. I currently work at Planet Labs and received my graduate degree in Earth Systems & Environmental Communication from Stanford University.

My images capture the strange toxic geographies rendered by environmental transformation and my writing explores the uncanny implications of climate change. My professional career involves demystifying complex scientific technologies and their applications to large audiences.

A list of my featured work can be found here.

I write visual essays about climate uncanniness over at my personal newsletter, Uncharted.

I write a weekly newsletter about satellite imagery and what the view from space teaches us about life on Earth. Check it out: Planet Snapshots.
I’ve written bi-weekly creative essays for Alphabets on various topics like Biosphere 2 and Coevolution.

Please feel free to reach out with any requests for prints or inquiries about freelance work. Thank you for checking out my photos and projects and I hope you enjoy!
